Eva Edgen likes to capture the secret moments of dark silence, to transform each shadow into a unique texture, to dress the numinous space around a compelling central idea. She titrates sounds such as a simple guitar riff to create a cold and luminous ambient glow in the soft velvet darkness of the mind.

For her first release Edgen worked with contributions from Ctimz (Shub), distorting and tweaking a guitar riff to create the sublime atmospheric track which is Nowhere. This beguiling piece of music is the perfect accompaniment to a sombre and melancholic journey. She also carefully dropped his adjusted vocals into Paroxism, a deep and slowly mesmerising track which transports the listener to secret places of the imagination. For her third track, Urban Spree, Edgen has taken a warm and mysterious clarinet track by Xavier Charles to create a seductive dark cocktail of beautiful cold ambience. This piece fits perfectly with the previous two tracks. Her very last offering, Warschauer str., features only the audio sounds of her own creation. It is a hauntingly crepuscular introspection.
Each of these four works has its own video, a suggested visual atmosphere, also created by Eva Edgen. Many thanks to CtimZ, Xavier Charles, Didier and Christopher Richard Barker.
